"Grief is the price we pay for love.". We lost dad last night & this statement could not be more true about him. A larger than life character with a laugh to match.
Many people knew him as a superlative Veterinary Surgeon but to us he was a loving father & husband.
Feel so lucky to have had dad in my life.
Thanks to everyone for sharing their beautiful memories of him in Shrewsbury, Bermuda, Qatar etc today.
I am off to Shrewsbury tomorrow morning to ensure mum is OK.
