I came back after work on my birthday to find all this. My friends are the best. I am so lucky that one of my best friends from Berlin, and her son, were willing to fly 16 hours to Cayman Islands to help me celebrate by 2018 birthday.
The week they were here was a dream with us seeing a baby turtle and stingray from Seven Mile Beach on their first evening; lots of Veuve Clicquot; incredible birthday gifts; champagne from Kimpton Seafire Resort & Spa; a stunning new member of the 'gang' from Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman; and my friend making me Eggs Benedict at home.

 Bermuda 'Dark n Stormy' cocktails, with truffled salami & cheese, to watch sunset together.  I showed off my BBQ skills on the Weber Grills again.  We had to drink Vintage Veuve Clicquot while I opened my perfectly chosen gifts.  Yes, that is a chocolate Bonsai tree as part of my 'birthday cake' in Taikun in Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman.  We ended my birthday night listening to a remix of 'Shout' by 'Tears for Fears' in the Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman. I could not have planned a 49th birthday any better.  Kimpton Seafire Resort & Spa served us champagne to celebrate my birthday.  I almost cried when my friend made me Eggs Benedict at home.  My friend looked Prada glamorous seeing Stingray City.  My last birthday cake of 2018 was at The Lighthouse restaurant.  The coloured ice sculptures at the Easter brunch at the Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman took my breath away.  We drank Moet admiring the www.sifrew.com personalisation on the back of Marc's shirt.  Love this happy photo of my friends in the garden at the Ritz-Carlton.  My friend took this stunning photo of an iguana in the garden at the Ritz-Carlton.  Seven Mile Beach looked unreal for our final Easter Monday walk.  After my friends left, I watched sunset with Marc, named after the extraordinary General Manager of Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman. |
