I was nervous about staying at Four Seasons at Park Lane so soon after legendary GM John had left. However, Manager Mali ensured it was another memorable stay in opulent surroundings with exemplary Four Seasons staff.
It was just a pity I did not get to meet new GM Lynn, as she was not yet in place. However, I did leave a #travelblog www.sifrew.com. baseball cap for her.
Four Seasons at Park Lane remains one of the best Four Seasons in the group and a hotel Mr Sharp can still be justly proud of.

| A Friendly Welcome There was not the 'welcoming committee' waiting for me, as there had been with John at Christmas. However, within seconds of me arriving at reception Mali and her team appeared and we were soon all chatting in a relaxed way like old friends. My Exquisite Westminster Suite I was escorted up to my suite. It was a smaller suite than on my Christmas stay but had such a refined and stylish look, with walnut veneer & Savile Row check, that I was far from disappointed. There was Veuve Clicquot chilling for this Brand Ambassador and afternoon tea had been left for me too. My luggage had arrived from my suite at The Dorchester. Bvlgari Vert in the Bathroom The bathroom had a huge shower and a beautiful photo of London above the bath but it was the Bvlgari bath products left for me that brought a smile to my face. I had to cope without a Japanese automated toilet (we all have to deal with 'hardships'!) but there was a TV in the mirror. The suite also had a separate guest bathroom. Amaranto Bar I interviewed for my current Cayman Islands job in the lounge of this bar. It feels like 'home' and the staff there are so good to me. I just missed Oscar that evening. A friend, who formerly worked for Rupert Murdoch, joined me there, but the bar became too busy and loud and so we retired to my suite to drink Veuve Clicquot. Rolls-Royce & The Dorchester I had to go for one last drink at The Dorchester and there was no problem over the hotel's Rolls-Royce taking me there. An Early Start I was up early for my 12 hours British Airways flight back to Cayman Islands via Bahamas. Reception were perfect and I could not believe how quickly my luggage was brought down. 🐻🐻🐻🐻🐻🐻🐻(7 out of 5 ‘teddies’) - the friendly welcome; Veuve Clicquot; refined suite; Bvlgari Vert; and Manager Mali and other impeccable staff, broke the 'teddy score' again. My tips:- use the complimentary Rolls-Royce Ghosts for your short journeys and drink in the hotel's Amaranto Bar. |  There was something beautiful & restful about the bedroom of the suite.
