Ms Amanda Hyndman (their General Manager), Ms Mayuree Laolugsanalread (Guest Relations Director) & Mr Wirat Chalermsak (Head Butler) were so welcoming, and the facilities so outstanding, I extended my three day booking to 6 days. I now regard the Mandarin Oriental as my luxury hotel home in Bangkok, at least until Four Seasons reopen in Bangkok in 2018.
I never intended this acclimatisation stay at the Oriental to form part of this travel blog but, with Koko now travelling with us, I could not completely ignore it.
I will stay at the Mandarin Oriental in Bangkok again before I leave Thailand and write a full review. Geoffrey, and the other guys at the pool, deserve a glowing review to themselves.
Hope that explains the 'omission' pointed out by a number of you.
Overall 5 out of 5 'teddies'. An incredible start to my Thailand trip.
