Our smiles say it all. I know Simon Casson from when he was General Manager of the Doha Four Seasons & have stayed at his Jumeirah Beach Four Seasons hotel in Dubai twice already. Once before it was open to the public, after my coffee with Mr Sharp at his home in Toronto.
I was thrilled when Mr Casson said he had time for a drink with me and rushed straight from Dubai airport for this. I was so glad I did. He is one of my favourite Four Seasons GMs and is always so much fun to catch up with.

| Welcome Mr Casson was waiting by the front doors for me and my ears rang with the "welcome back Mr Frew"s from so many staff. The Hendricks Bar In the Hendricks bar I recognised staff from my previous visits and we were served Veuve Clicquot. Simon had to go to a dinner and after he left I chatted to the staff, and other customers, while working on www.sifrew.com. The bar staff brought me a cocktail prepared with both Veuve Clicquot and Grey Goose and I was so touched by this this highly thoughtful personal touch. I ended the evening with a perfect very dry Grey Goose martini. Marco the Bar Manager joined after my last visits. He, and his staff, run a sublime bar. 🐻🐻🐻🐻🐻🐻🐻 (7 out of 5 ‘teddies’) - being awarded '7 teddies' is a very rare honour but Simon Casson is a 7 'teddy' GM and his Dubai Jumeirah Beach hotel, & its staff, fully deserve this prestigious award. My tip:- even if you are not staying in the hotel, visit its Hendricks bar & you will not be disappointed. |  The Moet champagne I was served on my short flight from Doha with Emirates.
